Alexander's Playroom Baby Boutique is the place you'd want to go to shop for those baby gifts and baby shower supplies. When you 'window shop' around the site you will notice that there are gifts for practically everything you have on that 'baby must buy' list. It's no surprise that you find all the essentials simply because the owner is a Mommy of 4 and knows what you'd need to throw that special baby shower or bless on the new baby.
Alexander's Playroom Baby Boutique also has a collection of over 50 unique, baby diaper cakes that are specially assembled and created only once an order for the same is placed.
Bunny Boo was sent a 'welcome to this world' prezzie.... a Baby Bear Diaper Cake.
This 10" x 15" diaper cake came packaged beautifully and intact without a single dent or tear.
If you take one look at the cake you wouldn't say it was held together with a layered filling of 50 boutique fan styled Pampers Swaddlers diapers. (The diapers are conveniently placed minus rubber bands, saving you the hassle of taking off the bands before using the diapers)
I also love the impression it gave me of a Mommy Bear looking at her Baby Bear (The Baby Bear is the little Bear from the pacifier clip...now isn't that creative?) hatching in a nest.
My three favorite elements of the cake (Other than all those diapers ofcourse!) are the
100% cotton hooded bear towel,
The adorable 'Mommy's Lil Bear' hairbrush and
the cute, fluffy Baby Gund Teddy Bear wearing a "Need A Hug" red tee.
The 3 tiered Baby Bear Diaper Cake also holds
- A polka dotted flannel receiving blanket
- 2 bibs
- A MAM pacifier
- A Manicure set and
- A comb

On Wednesday morning, Steven left for work while I finished packing for our trip to Phuket. We had an early afternoon flight, so Brandon and I left in a cab to pick Steven up from work a couple of hours before the flight left. There was some traffic on the way to Steven's work, and Steven was late getting out of the office. We were in quite a rush to make our flight. By the time we checked one bag and went through customs, we had to run to make the flight. We made it to our gate about 5 minutes before boarding closed. Ahhh... The exciting life of a Bierly.
Brandon slept most of the 1 hour 45 minute flight from Singapore to Phuket. I was able to enjoy some beautiful views from the plane as we arrived. Georgeous blue ocean. Lush green land. A new country to experience. What a thrill!
It was about a one hour car ride from the airport to our resort. We were staying at the Movenpick Resort and Spa located on Karon Beach. A driver from the hotel picked us up.
Upon arriving at the hotel, we were each greeted with a jasmine lei and a cup of tea. We checked in and were escorted through the hotel grounds to our room via a tuk-tuk.
